B2B ecomm site - Monster Hiring Express
Objective
Overhaul the Monster self-service ecommerce site for employers to:
- Provide a next-generation platform that is radically easier to use for both prospects and returning users
- Offer more guidance to employers about what Monster offers and its benefits
- Communicate Monster's brand effectively
- Increase revenue per visitor
Solution
Redesign included a coherent info architecture based on
usability research, a guided product selector, integrated learn-and-buy
experiences, refactoring of the site from .NET 1.0 to 3.0, AJAX
components such as minicart, a hybrid layout for legacy pages that
could not be updated within the constraints of the schedule, and more
immediacy in form completion and error handling.

Outcome
Usability increased in task completion, navigability, and awareness of product offerings. Conversion rates and AOS increased at site launch Jul O7. Learn-and-buy environment increased conversion 50% and AOS 65% over QuickBuy approach, as measured in an A/B split test.
